In Malaysia, tropical fruits sub-sector contribute to more than RM140 million in export earning annually and provide more than 260,000 job opportunities. Fruit area planted in Selangor is 5465 ha with an annual production of 63,448 metric ton. The contents of the book include non-seasonal, seasonal and rare fruits and there is a special section devoted to Royal Favourite Fruits.
